Scribbles # 84 It's All Relative, Isn't It?

It is all relative, isn't it?
Why doesn't logic take hold?
Since I have nothing else to compare it to,
Is the earth still standing still?
Is there something else I could do?
It is all relative, isn't it?
What does it have to prove?
With all of this paralyzing fear,
Doubting the heart's resilience.
It's all relative, somehow.
And what about the others
Who feel the same pain?
It is all relative, isn't it?
Can you understand my plight
And there is this dreaded thud of being
In the wrong enlightenment?
But it is all relative, isn't it?

Until you anchor yourself on something that is truth everything is as changeable as the wind. I’d start with something like gravity I may not like the concept but it will do me no good to deny it!

I sometimes doubt what truth I am told… but I do understand about the law of gravity and I understand what you are saying. Thanks for the comment.

To quote a founding father (TJ) "If there be God He surely would prefer adherents who question with boldness."

it’s all relative to an ant crawling across a gigantic picture.. but something there is that sees it all.. whose view is constant and unchanging. for me it is Love…

Pastor, that is so eloquent.. thanks for the comment. I do believe in love even though I have never had the priviledge to hold it in my own heart.
